Issue Date: December 16, 2009
- A District employee who is obliged to be unavoidably absent for reasons other than illness and death shall take a Class B Absence. He/she shall arrange for such absences in advance with the principal.
- Except for jury duty or witness in a court case in which the employee is neither a plaintiff nor defendant, salary deductions will be made. Any jury duty or witness fees received for the days missed will be remitted to the District as soon as received.
- Class B absences are jury duty, subpoena, and witness in a court case.
