Krystle Bassett named Innovation Specialist

1y11029Juab School District is excited to announce the hiring of Krystle Bassett as the district’s Innovation Specialist. Krystle will be heavily engaged in the implementation of instructional technology in JSD as part of the district’s vision to support our students as successful 21st century learners.

Krystle Bassett has been an English teacher for 10 years. She started her career at Central Davis Junior High in Layton and moved to Nephi to teach at Juab High School at the age of 23.

Krystle earned a Masters degree in Informational Technology and Learning Sciences in 2009.
She has an ESL endorsement and a school library media endorsement.
She is a certificated administrator, and has worked for the last two years as a learning coach at JHS. Krystle completed her administrative internship with Dr. Royd Darrington in 2015.

While at Juab High, she has been an advisor for National Honor Society, The Clarion, Sterling Scholar, and Speech and Debate. She values the students in Juab District and is grateful for the chance she has to learn and grow here.
