Superintendent's Message: November 23

happy thanksgivingDear Juab School District Families,

Thankful. That is how I feel every day to serve as your Superintendent.  If you were with me at the Juab vs. Morgan State Championship Football game or at the 2:00 am game parade, you felt firsthand the enthusiasm, commitment, respect, and friendships that make Juab School District such a place of pride.  At this time of COVID, as our community came together to support our students even with the inability to travel and attend the game in person, I was filled with gratitude for the selfless dedication to kids and community I witnessed.  I feel lucky to work for and alongside you all.

As we enjoy Thanksgiving break with our families and friends this Thursday, on behalf of the District Administration and the Board of Education, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all you do to make our community such a place of pride.

To our students, thank you for inspiring us to do our best work for you. You are our future leaders. To our teachers, principals, nurses, bus drivers, food service staff, custodians, grounds workers, and the many support staff who strive to ensure success for each and every JuabSD student, thank you for inspiring a passion for learning in our students. To our parents, PTOs, community groups, residents, and business partners who support our students through the investment of time, treasure, and talent, thank you. You all make a difference in our students' lives each day and your hard work and dedication to our mission, no matter your role, is recognized and appreciated.

Juab School District has and always will be a partnership with families and the community. Thank you all for your support in preparing our children for their bright futures ahead.  Please continue your part in health awareness and COVID safety and relish your time with those you love.  I wish you a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving holiday.

Sincerely,

Dr. Kodey S. Hughes, Ed.D
